Growing In Blue
Growing in Blue is a printmaking project that explores fragmented narratives and the reconstruction of emotional and memory perception through non-linear storytelling. Each square print represents a fragment of emotion—pieces that can be freely rearranged to form new narratives and interpretations.
Blue dominates the visual language of this project. For me, blue carries the weight of sorrow, the calm of suppressed anger, and the quiet strength of resilience. It represents the emotional space where I grow, struggle, and move forward—where I confront pain and longing while reaching for freedom.
At its core, Growing in Blue reflects my longing to break free from inherited trauma and suffocating environments. It also speaks to the experience of living far from home—like a small seabird navigating vast skies in search of new possibilities. Through this work, I hope to share a quiet but persistent strength, resonating with those who, like me, are finding their way in unfamiliar places.
